FinoCan Privacy Policy

The short version: FinoCan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server. Everything stays on your device.
1. Data Collection
FinoCan does not collect any personal information. We have no servers, no database, and no account system. We cannot access any information you enter into the app.
2. Data Storage
All information you enter — including your name, income, savings figures, SIN details, health card information, bank details, and any photographs of documents — is stored exclusively on your device using local device storage. This data never leaves your device.
3. Documents and Photos
Any document photos you upload (SIN card, health card, ID, bank documents) are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
4. Push Notifications
FinoCan may request permission to send push notifications (reminders for contribution deadlines, goals, and tax dates). This is optional. Notification preferences are managed entirely on your device. We do not use notifications to collect data.
5. Third-Party Services
FinoCan does not use advertising networks, analytics services, or any third-party SDKs that collect user data.
6. Children's Privacy
FinoCan does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains RESP/education savings features intended for parents managing savings on behalf of their children.
7. Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
